AWS Launch Wizard now provides guided deployment of Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server
You can now use AWS Launch Wizard to lead you through a best practices deployment of self-managed IIS (Internet Information Services) for Windows Server on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) Auto Scaling group across multiple Availability Zones (AZs). AWS Launch Wizard uses the AWS Well-Architected Framework to guide you through the configuration, sizing and deployment of Microsoft IIS on AWS Cloud, without the need to manually identify and provision individual AWS resources. Nodes are deployed into separate subnets across multiple Availability Zones for high availability. Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server is a flexible, secure and manageable Web server for hosting anything on the Web.
AWS Launch Wizard offers a guided way of sizing, configuring, and deploying AWS resources for third-party applications. With this launch, it now supports Microsoft SQL Server, SAP-based workloads, Microsoft Exchange Server, and more. AWS Launch Wizard is available at no additional charge. You only pay for the AWS resources that are provisioned for running your workload.

AWS Launch Wizard
Easily size, configure, and deploy third party applications on AWS.
AWS Launch Wizard offers a guided way of sizing, configuring, and deploying AWS resources for third party applications, such as Microsoft SQL Server Always On and HANA based SAP systems, without the need to manually identify and provision individual AWS resources. To start, you input your application requirements, including performance, number of nodes, and connectivity on the service console. Launch Wizard then identifies the right AWS resources, such as EC2 instances and EBS volumes, to deploy and run your application. Launch Wizard provides an estimated cost of deployment, and lets you modify your resources to instantly view an updated cost assessment. Once you approve the AWS resources, Launch Wizard automatically provisions and configures the selected resources to create a fully-functioning, production-ready application.
AWS Launch Wizard also creates CloudFormation templates that can serve as a baseline to accelerate subsequent deployments. Launch Wizard is available to you at no additional charge. You only pay for the AWS resources that are provisioned for running your solution.
